Connoisseur Choice: Stainless Steel Multi-Oval Link Dual Rubber Cord Necklace for Men
I was first attracted to this necklact because of its unique look. The combination or rubber and stainless steel go fantastic together and look very masculine. It was delivered to my house several days earlier than promised. The links are not too large or too small and look fantastic with a collared shirt or T-shirt. The first time I wore it was to an Australian Pink Floyd concert with a black collared shirt and I “caught” several people admiring it. I really like this piece a lot.

This is quite a masculine looking necklace except that it is only 15″ long. Most American men don’t have a 15″ neck after about the eighth grade. The importer must have realized this and added a two inch piece of girly looking baby chain with a tiny lobster claw clasp. None of the three photos depict this. I’ll probably modify mine with a thicker piece of key chain or something. Just don’t be fooled by the $[...] “list price”. It is every bit of a $[...] necklace.

THis is going to be quick. It’s a fantastic necklace for guys. The pictures are accurate. But the scale threw me off. I was hoping it would be smaller, in terms of the links on the chain. They have a bold weight are huge. This is excellent for clubbing and high profile wear. But this is not an every day chain. It’s got some weight to it and is not usable for using to hang a charm on. If the links were small and subtle, it would be fantastic for hanging a charm. But small and subtle it is not.
The presentation and box was elegant. The quality is excellent. It looks nicer in person than my laptop’s monitor would suggest. Shipping was about 5 days. The rubber cord has a flat end so it doesn’t reflect light. In my opinion, this is a nice plus.
Again, I should have spec’d the thing better before I bought online. It wasn’t what I was looking for, but I kept it given the modest price.
So if you reckon you got the attitude to wear this, its a fantastic modern piece.

I gave this necklace to my 14-year-ancient nephew as a Christmas gift, after I’d seen him wearing manly-looking jewelry that he said he’d gone digging in his mom’s jewelry box to find. He’s a metrosexual (his friends call him “Metro”) – even as a high school freshman – but partly b/c he does modeling and acting work and so has been focused on hair, clothes, and appearance for the last few years. He told me that I “hit the jackpot” with this necklace, and also said that both his uncle and other aunt seperately commented on how fantastic it looked. It pairs up really nicely with the Lucky Brand shirts my parents got for him. It looked well-made, and the links are nice and thick and look like they’re constructed well. For the price, this was a phenomenal deal.
The seller was also fantastic. I had mistakenly thought the necklace hadn’t been shipped with other items I’d ordered b/c it was in a jewelry box so tiny (less than 2″ square), and colored black (was really cute packaging, though, but I had to place it in a larger box when I wrapped it), so I didn’t even see it in the huge shipping box. They refunded me immediately. Then I found it afterwards, apologized, and had them re-charge me. Just make sure you look closely for any small boxes from this seller, so you don’t accidentally throw away the item (which nearly happened here!). I’m extremely pleased I was able to find this for my nephew, and that I found the seller. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat!
