Could have spent a lot more and liked it a lot less. It does indeed look like carbon fiber.

I received this necklace as a Christmas gift and like other products I own from Peora this looks better in real life than in the picture. The carbon fiber weave looks holographic as you view it from different angles. My only gripe with this necklace is the holes through which the necklace pass are quite small which makes replacing the rubber cord a bit of a chore. Other than that I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a very stylish and modern looking necklace.
